BC-202
The BC-202 Bar Code Module is an introduction to Bar Codes and ID Symbology. Using CBT courseware and "off the shelf" commercial quality hardware, the students are introduced to many of the popular Bar code symbologies founding North America today. The approach is generic allowing the student to transfer their basic knowledge to future symbology and readers not yet developed.
The module uses commercial quality, fully operational scanners like those found in business and industry worldwide. Both a compact hand held wand and slot scanner are included. The system is extremely easy to use and requires minimal computer and keyboard entry skills.
The CBT (Computer Based Training) Student Courseware is presented in a graphic intensive, multimedia interactive format. The courseware includes performance objectives, basic concepts, related information, step-by-step exercise procedures and quizzes. The courseware introduces the student to POS databases, Time & Attendance and machine control uses.
Optional hardware packages are available for those institutions who wish to experiment with additional ID technologies.
